GTA 6 Trailer 3 Is Not Out Yet, So When Will Rockstar Finally Release It?

GTA 6 Trailer 3 Is Not Out Yet

GTA 6 Trailer 3 is not out yet. That may sound obvious, but it has become surprisingly difficult to tell what is real when searching for the trailer online. YouTube is packed with fan edits, recycled footage and videos carrying titles that make them look official. Some are well made, but the latest genuine trailer remains the one Rockstar released in May 2025.

I have been expecting another proper look at the game since pre-orders opened in June. That seemed like the obvious moment to publish Trailer 3, show some gameplay and start the final stretch of promotion. Rockstar opened the store pages and began taking orders, but the trailer never appeared.

With GTA 6 scheduled for November 19, 2026, the question is no longer whether Rockstar has enough material for another trailer. It is how long the company plans to wait before showing it.

Rockstar Still Has Not Announced Trailer 3

The only reliable places to confirm a new GTA 6 trailer are the official GTA 6 website, Rockstar’s Newswire and the company’s verified social media and video accounts. None of them lists Trailer 3.

The current promotional page still leads with Trailer 2, which arrived on May 6, 2025. That video gave us a much better look at Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, the game’s two main characters, along with Vice City, Leonida and several supporting characters who appear likely to play a part in the story.

Rockstar followed the trailer with character profiles, screenshots and more information about the game’s locations. Since then, however, the company has released very little new footage.

Anyone searching the official Rockstar Games video channel will find the same answer: Trailer 2 is still the newest full GTA 6 trailer.

Pre-Orders Opened Without a New Trailer

June 25 looked like the best bet for Trailer 3 because that was the day Rockstar opened GTA 6 pre-orders. Game publishers usually attach major marketing material to the beginning of a pre-order campaign, especially when the product is only a few months away.

Rockstar did not follow the usual playbook. It released ordering information and details about the available editions without publishing a new trailer.

That does not necessarily mean the next video is far away. Rockstar has always been comfortable setting its own schedule. It can post a trailer on an ordinary weekday and still take over the internet within minutes. GTA 6 does not need a long announcement for an announcement; the company can upload the video when it is ready and let the audience do the rest.

Still, the lack of new footage at the start of pre-orders was disappointing. Players have already seen plenty of edited cinematic scenes, but very little that explains what GTA 6 will feel like once the controller is in their hands.

August Is the Next Realistic Opportunity

The next date worth watching is August 7, when parent company Take-Two Interactive is scheduled to report its quarterly financial results. The company’s earnings calls are intended for investors, not players, so nobody should expect an executive to introduce Trailer 3 during the call.

However, Rockstar sometimes releases news near Take-Two’s financial reports. Fresh GTA 6 material would give the publisher something substantial to discuss with investors as the game moves closer to release. The relevant date can be found on Take-Two’s investor relations calendar.

That makes early August a reasonable possibility, but not a confirmed window. Rockstar may simply repeat the release date, discuss pre-order demand and save the trailer for later.

If nothing appears around the earnings report, September would make more sense. By then, GTA 6 would be about two months from launch, leaving enough time for Rockstar to show gameplay, explain the different editions and run a concentrated advertising campaign without revealing too much too early.

The Next Video Needs to Show the Actual Game

Another cinematic trailer would still draw a huge audience, but it would not answer the questions players now have. We already know what the main characters look like and have a broad idea of the setting. What is missing is a clear demonstration of how the game works.

The most useful next video would show driving, shooting, police chases, character switching and the way players move through Vice City and the wider state of Leonida. It could also explain whether Jason and Lucia have separate abilities, how robberies are planned and how much freedom players have outside the main story.

Rockstar used longer gameplay presentations before the releases of GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2. Those videos were narrated demonstrations rather than conventional trailers, and they gave players a much clearer understanding of each game. GTA 6 is now close enough to release for the same approach to make sense.

There is also the question of GTA Online. Rockstar has said very little about the next version of its multiplayer world. The company may keep that information separate and focus Trailer 3 entirely on the single-player game, just as it separated story and online marketing during earlier releases.

Players who return to the older game while waiting can still find the full list of GTA 5 cheats for PC and consoles, although the next game will almost certainly have its own set of codes and hidden surprises.

The November Release Date Has Not Changed

Rockstar currently says GTA 6 will launch on November 19, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has not been dated.

The game was previously planned for an earlier release, but Rockstar moved it to November and said the additional time was needed to finish the game properly. The official release-date announcement remains the latest word from the company.

Another delay is always possible in game development, but there is no official indication that one is coming. Pre-orders are open, retail listings are active and Rockstar is still advertising the November date. Until the company says otherwise, that is the date players should use.

Rockstar’s long gaps between announcements are frustrating, but they are not unusual. The company also kept information about Red Dead Redemption 2 tightly controlled before release, and speculation about a possible Red Dead Redemption 3 release date has continued without an official announcement.

So When Will GTA 6 Trailer 3 Come Out?

My best guess is that Rockstar will release its next GTA 6 video between early August and the end of September. August would fit with Take-Two’s financial calendar, while September would give the company two months to show gameplay and begin advertising the launch more heavily.

That is only a prediction. Rockstar has not confirmed a month, a day or even that its next video will be called Trailer 3. It could release a gameplay overview instead, followed later by a shorter launch trailer.

For now, any video claiming to be the official third trailer should be treated with suspicion unless it comes directly from Rockstar. The real one will not be difficult to spot when it arrives. It will appear on the company’s own channels, and within a few minutes it will be everywhere.

Until then, Trailer 2 is still the latest official look at GTA 6. With the game due in November, Rockstar cannot keep the next part of its marketing campaign hidden for much longer.
