1800 Lake developers should be treated like everyone else

In a day where everyone in the city wants to be environmentally correct, how does hot ground water pumped out of a sub basement into the canal between Lake of the Isles and Lake Calhoun seen like the right thing to do.

As a home owner and city dweller for 25 years I have been forced to deal with flat roof water run off pooling between houses rather than having it go into the city pipes. It would appear in the case of 1800 Lake there was preferential treatment given to the developers.  Personally, I feel they should have to fill in there sub basement and close off there discharge pipe like every other resident in Minneapolis was required to do.
