Chiang Mai Thai is closing Dec. 23 after a 17-year run at Calhoun Square.
As the restaurant’s lease comes to an end, owner Charles Lodge is foregoing a lease extension and is “ready to take a break from the 24/7 job,” according to a press release.
“It is a difficult decision because my staff is so loyal and capable and many have been with me for over ten years,” Lodge said in a statement. “Along with our long-time guests, we honestly call this place a second home.”
Lodge continues working as a partner at Ginger Hop Restaurant and Honey at Ginger Hop.
