Tailgate’s “smaller sister” is open in the former Cintia’s space at 6042 Nicollet Ave., serving burgers, hot dogs, sandwiches and salads.
“We don’t have anything in this neighborhood close to this unless you go to fast food,” said owner Bahman Razmpour, who also owns Tailgate.
He said Patty Wagon features seven stuffed burgers like the Nutty Wagon (stuffed with peanut butter and topped with a banana, bacon and cheese) and the Four Alarm (stuffed with pepper jack and jalapeño). The venue also serves shakes and malts and 1919 Root Beer — “I don’t see it around here,” Razmpour said.
The restaurant is open daily for lunch and dinner, and kids eat free on Sunday.
“We’d like the neighborhood to come and try it and give us a chance,” he said.
