Beginning this June, customers can pick up CSA produce at any Lunds & Byerlys stores.
The Edina-based grocery store chain made the announcement Wednesday that all of its stores will begin hosting CSA, or community supported agriculture, produce pickup at the end of the season. Minneapolis is home to several stores, including one in downtown (1201 Hennepin Ave.), one in Northeast Minneapolis (25 University Ave.) and one in Uptown (1450 W. Lake St.)
CSA members can pick up boxes of seasonal produce every week from Turnip Rock Farm of Clear Lake, Wisc. and/or Axdahl Garden Farm & Greenhouse of Stillwater. Both CSAs begin mid-June and run until October.
Shoppers can register to join either CSA this week.
