Butter Bakery Cafe is offering Community Supported Bakery (CSB) shares this summer, featuring fresh bread available for weekly pick-up.
Bread pick-up will correspond with Butter’s current CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) drop times on Tuesdays or Thursdays. The $90 share includes a weekly loaf or bag of rolls made with local flours, grains, dairy and spices.
“People are excited to buy the bread we’re using in the restaurant,” said Cafe Manager Erin Swenson-Klatt.
She said the CSA-style shares will help Butter ease into selling its multigrain bread — customers often ask to buy it retail — and other varieties like olive oil foccacia or cinnamon swirl loaves.
The program runs June 15 through October.
