A new Christmas album benefits The Bridge for Youth near 22nd & Hennepin.

Tommy Barbarella of the Tangletown neighborhood mixed the music and gathered the musicians for the effort (he spent 10 years as the keyboardist for Prince).

Contributing musicians include Davina & the Vagabonds, Keri Noble, and Nicholas David of The Voice, who did “a really cool version of ‘Joy to the World,'” Barbarella said.

“It’s a pretty diverse offering, it’s all over the map,” he said.

The compilation was initiated by Joe Morris, who co-owns the Waterbury Studio in Northeast where the artists recorded. Morris’s wife Teresa volunteers as a counselor at The Bridge for Youth, which is a center for runaway and homeless youth.

The album is available with any $30 donation to The Bridge at bridgeforyouth.org/get-involved/sounds/
