Salon dPugh has reopened on the first floor of a house at 4608 Grand Ave. S.
Owner Donna Pugh’s salon previously expanded to offer services like waxing, body art and shiatsu massage in its old spot at 24th & Lyndale.
“I decided I wanted to go back to just me and hair,” said Pugh. “It’s a more relaxed feel.”
The salon is open by appointment, focusing on “precision creative hair” at an affordable price.
“I think everyone should have good hair, not only people with money,” Pugh said.
She offers discounts for retirees, students and the unemployed.
Pugh has done hair for 18 years. Her logo features a picture of her grandmother, who was the first woman in her small South Dakota town to bob her hair in the ’20s.
