Kaskaid Hospitality, the parent company of Crave and other local restaurants, is planning to take over the Old Chicago space in Uptown at 2841 Hennepin Ave. S.
The concept for the new restaurant hasn’t been named yet. The company will take over the 5,800-square-foot space in November and open the new concept in March 2014, according to a news release.
“With the growth in the residential base in Uptown, we think there’s a niche to be filled in the casual dining sector which is where our concepts excel,” said Kaskaid Hospitality CEO Kam Talebi. “ We are excited to announce this concept which we believe will be a natural fit for the Uptown neighborhood community.”
