A Lynnhurst illustrator is expanding her line of cards into textile designs, with the help of seamstresses at The Linden Tree.

“This is a dream come true,” said Cindy Lindgren, who expressed gratitude to the shop and artists who have helped her with the line.

The fabric collection is called Poppy Hop, and custom orders for items like skirts and pillows are available at The Linden Tree, 4404 Beard Ave. S. The shop’s dog, Jackson, modeled his new dog bed made with Poppy Hop fabric for the line’s brochure.

Lindgren worked on the project with photographer Jana Freiband, models Cara Long Hartzell and Ingrid, Melissa Pederson of The Linden Tree, as well as many artists who sewed products using her fabric: Janis Kimmel of MJKrafts, Liz McGillvary of YoYoMaMa, Carole Youngren, Krista Hurcomb, Elizabeth Childs-Caguin, Sara Leffler Boehnke.
