Gift markets open for the holidays

Farmers markets are heading indoors and craft vendors are setting up shop across Southwest Minneapolis this season. Here are a few highlights:

 — The Cedar-Isles-Dean Neighborhood Association (CIDNA) Art Mart is Sunday, Nov. 22. The market displays neighborhood artists, and art buyers are eligible for a $50 gift card to a local restaurant. The event includes apple cider and a station to make Thanksgiving cards. The Art Mart runs from 3-7 p.m. at the Jones-Harrison Residence, 3700 Cedar Lake Ave. More info at cidna.org.

— The Linden Hills Farmers Market returns to the Sunnyside Gardens greenhouse on Sundays from Nov. 22 thru Dec. 20. The market runs from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at 3723 W. 44th St. More info at lindenhillsfarmersmarket.com.

— The Wedge Table hosts a Local Holiday Gift Market on Saturday, Nov. 28 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The day includes holiday gift-making for kids, coffee from a local roaster, and tea and cocktails from local distributors. Shopping supports artists and producers from Minnesota and Wisconsin, including Honey House and Bodylish. More info at wedge.coop.

— Dates are set for the Winter Market at Bachman’s on Jan. 23, Feb. 27 and March 26. Find farmers market vendors, live music, beer and wine in the greenhouse from 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at 6010 Lyndale Ave. S. More info at neighborhoodrootsmn.org.
