Southwest survey analyzes neighborhood character

University of Minnesota grad student Madelyn Sundberg is asking everyone in Southwest Minneapolis why their particular neighborhood is special.

The survey is part of her thesis, and she plans to share the survey results. She’s working to understand similarities and differences between neighborhoods as perceived by residents.

The anonymous survey asks to what extent different places are important to neighborhood character, such as parks, restaurants or history. Participants are also asked what they would change about the neighborhood.
