Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 4100 Lyndale Ave. S., has unveiled a new free community resource called Mental Health Connect to help people learn about available mental health services.
Kristina Swanberg is the church’s mental health navigator and will be working in collaboration with Vail Place, community-based organization serving people with long-term, serious mental illnesses in Minneapolis and Hopkins.
Swanberg has worked as an outreach specialist at Vail Place for the past two years.
She will help people find options for mental health services and support programs, among other things.
Her office hours are Wednesday, noon–4 p.m. and Thursdays & Fridays, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. For more information, go to www.mhconnect.org.
