It appears spring is here to stay: Nice Ride Minnesota recently announced its neon bikes will tentatively return April 1.
The re-launch is coming a few weeks earlier than last year thanks to the warm vernal weather, marketing director Anthony Ongaro told Minnesota Public Radio.
Nice Ride expects 20 more stations, bringing the bike-sharing company to 190 stations for the year. Those stations will be deployed mid-season along with 200 additional bikes.
This season’s membership costs will be a repeat of last year: $6 for a 24-hour pass and $15 for a 30-day pass available at any station. The usage fee structure has been simplified to a flat $3 for each 30-minute period after the included trip time.
