The Tryg’s Restaurant site at 3118 W. Lake St. could be replaced by an 11-story apartment building.
A Cedar-Isles-Dean neighborhood meeting is set for Jan. 6 to explore potential designs with the Dallas-based Trammel Crow Co.
The project could include Tryg’s or another restaurant on the ground floor, according to the neighborhood group. One concept features a park fronting the Midtown Greenway.
The meeting is Jan. 6 at 6 p.m. at the Jones-Harrison residence’s Lake View Room, 3700 Cedar Lake Ave.
The site’s owner, architect and development representatives did not return calls for comment.
The project is one of two under discussion in the area. Neighborhood leaders also say Greystar is considering an apartment project for the vacant lot east of the Calhoun Beach Club Apartments at Thomas Avenue on West Lake Street.
Development representatives and potential architects did not comment on the project.
