Police seek community impact statements on juvenile burglar suspect

Police have arrested a 15-year-old juvenile linked to at least seven burglaries in South Minneapolis.

Police said that in almost all of the cases, residents were home at the time of the burglary, although they typically remained asleep or undisturbed in another level of the house. In most of the cases, the juvenile allegedly entered through unlocked windows or doors.

Police are requesting community impact statements that detail how the burglaries impact the community and quality of life. Statements go to Laura Floistad of the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office: [email protected]
