Officers watched as a 47-year-old man walked around an intersection with a bottle of liquid. When they stopped him, the man admitted the bottle contained alcohol. The man was cited for open bottle.

3100 block of Girard Avenue South
A 27-year-old man set his bicycle against a boulevard tree while door knocking for a political campaign. While he was speaking to someone, his bike was stolen.

2401 Hennepin Ave. S.
Suspects went into a business, distracted workers and took an employee’s wallet and cell phone from a countertop.
May 28, 10:30 p.m.
2200 block of Bryant Avenue South
Police executed a search warrant at the apartment of 46 year old man. Officers found 10 grams of heroin. He was arrested on a felony narcotics charge.

1000 block of West Lake Street
A 24-year-old woman left her bicycle locked to a rack near her apartment building. While she was gone for the holiday weekend her bike was stolen.

1300 block of Lagoon Avenue
Officers cited a 31-year-old man for public urination after officers saw him urinating in an alley.

Blaisdell and 33rd Avenue
A man parked his vehicle on the street over Memorial Day weekend. When he returned to the vehicle on Tuesday morning, a window had been broken out and his GPS device was missing.

4200 block of Pleasant Avenue South
A 27-year-old Hutchinson woman parked her vehicle in front of a friend’s house. While she was up north for the holiday weekend, someone broke into the vehicle and stole unspecified items.

4000 block Grand Avenue South
A security alarm was tripped when a burglar attempted to kick open the back door of a house. The suspect fled the scene at the sound of the alarm, leaving the door handle damaged and cracked.

4800 block of Ewing Avenue South
A man left his house for a week while it was being remodeled. While he was away, unspecified items were taken from his home.

A home was burglarized.

3400 block of Aldrich Avenue South
A burglar entered an apartment through a window after prying off the screen. The suspect then left through the front door. The apartment owner was home at the time of the break-in and reported nothing had been stolen.

2400 block of Lyndale Avenue South
A 30-year-old man was assaulted at a bus stop as he reached for a cigarette. He was hit in the face with an unknown object and knocked unconscious. When he awoke, he found his cell phone, wallet and apartment keys missing.

A 28-year-old woman told police that her boyfriend had assaulted her.

2700 block of Stevens Avenue South
A 24-year-old man reported a death threat from a woman whom he had met on Facebook and subsequently dated. The woman had recently discovered that the man currently has a girlfriend.

2600 block of Lyndale Avenue South
Two people parked their vehicle and went to dinner. Upon their return, they found that the passenger-side window was broken and a laptop was missing from inside.

May 27, 6 p.m.
Cedar Lake Parkway
Two men were arrested for doing graffiti at Brownie Lake. A witness confirmed their identities. One of the men was cited for damage to property.

3200 block of East Lake Calhoun Parkway
A 25-year-old man noticed unauthorized use of his credit cards after he had left his wallet in a taxi. Charges were made at two Redbox locations, a Holiday gas station and at a Target.
