3000 Hennepin Ave. S. Nov. 10, 6:00 p.m.

Several unknown persons stole an estimated $2,000 worth of items from Victoria’s Secret when they walked out without paying.

+ 37th & Blaisdell
Nov. 8, between 2:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

A 34-year-old man was walking home from the bar when an unknown person, who may have had a gun, demanded his money. The man complied and then the unknown person beat him unconscious. The man awoke sometime later, went home and to bed, then reported the crime to the police the next day.

Nov. 11, 7:30 p.m.

An unknown person robbed a 75-year-old woman of her purse and then fled. The woman suffered minor injuries though she declined medical treatment.

Lowry Hill East

1935 Bryant Ave. S.
Nov. 13, between 10:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

A 40-year-old man said his ex-girlfriend used keys he did not give her to enter his apartment. She gained access to his Facebook account and changed the settings on his Match.com account so that she would receive the same email notifications as he would. She admitted to doing this in an email to the man.

607 W. Lake St.
Nov. 9, 3:30 p.m.

A 63-year-old man parked his car in a business parking lot. When he returned after a short time, his car was gone and there was a bike in its place. The bike was impounded.

3142 Grand Ave. S.
Nov. 12, overnight

A 24-year-old man lost his cellular phone in the street. He called his phone from another line and a man answered, demanding $75–$100 for the phone’s return. Two other people called the phone and each time a man answered, demanding money for its return.

Lynnhurst

5114 Knox Ave. S.
Nov. 13, 4:30 a.m.

A 48-year-old woman said she’d parked her car in an alley driveway spot overnight. Early in the morning her husband awoke to the sound of her car alarm and when he investigated the alarm he saw an unknown person
running away down the alley.

Stevens Square

19th & First
Nov. 10, overnight

A 29-year-old parked his car overnight and when he returned in the morning there was broken glass on the ground
and his car was gone. It was the second time his car was stolen this month.

Franklin & 4th
Nov. 11, 2:50 p.m.
A 60-year-old woman was struck by a vehicle, and when the car that hit her pulled over, three suspects got out and fled on foot. It was a stolen car that was later impounded. The woman was not injured.

West Calhoun

3100 Excelsior Ave.
Nov. 11, overnight

Unknown people burglarized the My Burger restaurant and unspecified items were stolen.

Whittier

+ 10 W. Lake St.
Nov. 10, 2:30 p.m.

An unknown person stabbed a 61-year-old man in the right wrist or forearm and then fled on foot. A security camera at a nearby business may have recorded the attacker fleeing.

200 W. Lake St.
Nov. 13, 10:40 p.m.

A 26-year-old woman attempted to steal items from Walgreen’s. She assaulted the staff when they tried to stop her. Police arrested her and found she had a misdemeanor warrant as well.

2900 block Blaisdell Ave. S.
Nov. 14, 11:30 a.m.
A 25- to 30-year-old man said he intentionally left his car keys in his parked car. When he returned to the car, his keys were gone. He demanded that police file a report.

Windom

59th & Nicollet
Nov. 10, 11:30 a.m.

An 86-year-old woman bent over to pick up an item while shopping and when she turned back around her purse was gone from her shopping cart. Her credit card was used at a McDonald’s in Minneapolis. There were also charges for $69 worth of gas in Brooklyn Park and at a Red Box DVD rental machine.

East Isles

+ Holiday Gas Station, 2448 Hennepin Ave. Oct. 29, 8 p.m.

A suspect attempted to rob the gas station, but another customer placed him under citizen’s arrest.

Lowry Hill East

1104 Lagoon Ave. Oct. 28, between 9:30 p.m. & 10:45 p.m.
A 55-year-old woman dropped her phone in the parking lot. The phone had been used a significant amount between the time she lost it and reported the loss to police. No suspect was identified.

Lyle’s, 2021 Hennepin Ave. S. Oct. 31, 1 a.m.
A 55-year-old woman was arrested after she drank and ate with a friend but wasn’t able to pay her bill. Her friend left, and she attempted to pay with both a check and debit card. The manager of the bar placed her under citizen’s arrest.

2900 block Colfax Ave. S. Oct. 27, 6:15 p.m.
A 27-year-old man parked his car on the street. When he returned, he saw his front passenger-side window was broken out with a rock. His iPod was missing.

3100 block Grand Ave. S. The night of Oct. 26
A 43-year-old man parked his car overnight. When he returned in the morning he noticed the passenger-side window was broken and his in-dash radio was gone.

Lynnhurst

+ 1300 block W. 58th St. Oct. 31, 7:30 p.m.
A 13- and 14-year-old were robbed of their trick-or-treat candy by an unknown person.

Nu Look Consignment, 4956 Penn Ave. S. Oct. 29 3:30 p.m.
A suspect was caught on surveillance tape stealing 30 pairs of jeans worth an estimated $500, according to the manager. The suspect has not yet been found.

+ CK Food & Fuel, 4751 Nicollet Ave. S. Oct. 29, 9 p.m.
The convenience store and gas station was robbed at gunpoint. The suspect took money and cigarettes and has not been found.

Whittier

W. 27th St. & Lyndale Ave. S. Oct. 25, 5:30 p.m.
A 28-year-old man was walking along the street when four men approached and asked for the time. When he took out his phone, one of the men stole it. After a brief chase, the four men got away.

+ Loon Grocery, 2501 Lyndale Ave. S. Oct. 29, 10:50 p.m.

An unknown suspect robbed the store at gunpoint after purchasing cigarettes. The owner called police and reported
the robbery.

+ W. 26th St. & Blaisdell Ave. S. Oct. 27, between 11:40 a.m. and 12:20 p.m.

A 26-year-old woman was walking down the street when three men approached her. One of the men punched her in the face and stole her cell phone and wallet. The suspects have not been found.

Vision World, 3001 Hennepin Ave. S. Oct. 26, between 4 and 4:20 p.m.

An unknown suspect stole several pairs of eyeglasses after entering the store.

2900 block Pillsbury Ave. S. Oct. 27, 10 p.m.

A 19-year-old woman was walking down the street when a man approached her. She thought she recognized him as the perpetrator of another theft, of which her friend was the victim. The man stole her iPod and has not been found.
