ARMATAGE
+ 6013 Penn Ave. S. Sept. 3, 6:30 p.m.
Four acquaintances began arguing. The argument escalated. Eventually, one of the acquaintances pulled out a gun and fired at a 20-year-old man with whom he had been arguing. The man, who was not injured, told police that he knew the person who shot at him. The parties to the argument other than the victim, including the gunman, fled the scene in a purple car.

EAST ISLES
The Lowry, 2112 Hennepin Ave. S. Sept. 3, 2:30 a.m.
An unknown suspect broke a glass window at the back of the property and entered the restaurant. He then pried open an office door and stole a safe that was bolted to the floor, resulting in an undisclosed loss. Police noted that at the time of the incident the restaurant did not have a working alarm system or security cameras.

5501 Dupont Ave. S. Morning of Aug. 31
A 30-year-old man parked his car on the street the night before. He told police that when he returned to the vehicle the following morning, he found that the car’s door had been pried open and change had been stolen. He told police that the rearview mirrors on either side of the car had been regularly tinkered at night the previous couple weeks, leading him to believe that someone was walking around the neighborhood on a nightly basis looking to steal from cars.

LYNDALE
34th St. & 1st Ave. S. Sept. 1, 1:30 a.m.
A 43-year-old man told police that his vehicle was shot at by an unknown suspect who was riding behind him in a dark colored SUV. The man told police that he and his female passenger weren’t injured. After the shooting, the SUV fled eastbound on 34th St. Police found shell casings and reported that there was visible damage to the man’s vehicle. There were no witnesses.
+ 3319 Pleasant Ave. S. Sept. 3, 3:30 a.m.
A 39-year-old man was entering his apartment when an unknown suspect approached him and pointed a black revolver in his face. The victim’s cell phone was stolen. Following the robbery, the suspect attempted to flee the scene on a bike, but fell. He then fled on foot.

STEVENS SQUARE
1829 3rd Ave. S. Aug. 31, 10 p.m.
A 31-year-old man parked his car in the underground garage of his parking complex. Although he told police he believed he had locked his vehicle, when he returned the next morning he found the vehicle doors unlocked, his stereo missing from the dash and a change container stolen from the car. The victim told police he believed his neighbor perpetrated the theft, as he found a set of keys emblazoned with his neighbor’s condo number sitting on the front passenger seat.

TANGLETOWN
Caribou Coffee, 4606 Nicollet Ave. S. Aug. 31, 5 p.m.
A 54-year-old woman placed her purse on the floor while she was talking with a friend. She told police that at one point during her conversation, she noticed someone digging through a cupboard directly behind her but didn’t think anything of it. When she got up to leave, she noticed her purse had been taken.

THE WEDGE
SuperAmerica, 2501 Hennepin Ave. S. Sept. 3, 3 a.m.
A party bus pulled into the gas station and about 30 passengers entered the convenience store. While inside, some of the passengers took merchandise and left the store without paying. A cashier called the police, but the party bus had already driven off northbound toward downtown by the time officers arrived.
1314 W. 28th St. Sept. 4, 2 p.m.
A 59-year-old man was helping his daughter move into a third-floor apartment. At one point, father and daughter both grabbed an armful of items from their car and hauled them upstairs without locking the vehicle. When they came back, they noticed a cell phone and GPS had been taken from the car.

WHITTIER
+ The Bulldog, 2549 Lyndale Ave. S. Aug. 30, 11:30 p.m.
A 31-year-old woman was assaulted and robbed as she sat on the front porch of the property. Suspects fled on foot. The victim was transported to Abbott Northwestern Hospital.
+ 2432 Stevens Ave. S. Sept. 2, 3 p.m.
A 25-year-old man was assaulted by an unknown suspect in front of the property. The suspect had already fled by the time officers arrived.
Kmart, 10 Lake St. W. Sept. 4, noon
An unknown suspect pried open a display case and took between $4,000 and $6,000 worth of jewelry. The incident was filmed by Kmart’s security cameras but the suspect left the scene without being arrested.
