LINDEN HILLS — Looking to have a few good laughs while supporting a good cause?
Kevin Kling, a Minnesota native known for his comedy, storytelling and skills as a playwright is coming to Linden Hills May 26. Funds raised will help support Linden Hills Power & Light.
Kling is often featured on National Public Radio’s “All Things Considered” and is the author of “Holiday Inn.” The event will be held in an “intimate setting” with only about 100 tickets for the event available, according to organizers.
Linden Hills Power & Light is a neighborhood-based organization with goals of shrinking the local carbon footprint through education and community engagement. Recent projects include a composting and organics recycling program and energy- efficiency projects.
The event starts at 6:30 p.m. above the Wild Rumpus bookstore, 2720 43rd St. W. Tickets are $40. For more information or to purchase tickets, go to lhpowerandlight.org.
