Two women in the Windom neighborhood were sexually assaulted early Saturday morning by a man who threatened them with a gun, according to a city of Minneapolis press release.
Police are still searching for the suspect, described as a 5’6” to 5’9”, medium built black man with a dark complexion and thin moustache and goatee. At the time of the incident he was wearing a long blue T-shirt and light blue shorts.
According to police, the man approached the two women at approximately 1 a.m. as they were walking south on Nicollet Avenue in the Windom neighborhood. He showed them a gun, ordered them to the area near 62nd Street West and Blaisdell Avenue South and, according to police, demanded they perform sexual acts.
