A woman was the victim of an attempted robbery when a man approached her, knocked her down and attempted to rob her. After the unidentified suspect was unable to acquire anything from the woman, he ran off to an unknown location.

May 13, 8:00 p.m., 3118 Lake St. W.
While eating a meal at restaurant Tryg’s, a woman said she set her phone down on her table. After the busboy came over to clean up the table, she had noticed her cell phone had disappeared. The victim told police she thought the busboy had taken the phone, but the restaurant denied the allegations.

KENWOOD
May 16, 3:20 p.m., Intersection of Dean Parkway and West Lake of the Isles Parkway
A man’s vehicle was stolen while he was jogging in the area. During the jog, the victim noticed what he thought looked like his car being driven by the unidentified suspect, but he dismissed the idea. The man said he left his key in the car, but he also kept a key to get into his locked car tied to his shoelace. It is not known exactly how the car was stolen.

May 11, 5:35 p.m., 2501 S. Lyndale Ave.
Unidentified suspects attempted to break into Loon Grocery by breaking the plate glass doors. The glass was shattered, but the metal door and frame were still intact. The suspects made no entry.

LOWRY HILL EAST
May 14, 11:30 p.m., Intersection of Emerson Avenue and 29th Street
A woman noticed an unidentified man and woman walking with a purse that resembled her own. Upon returning to her vehicle, which was parked by Stella’s Fish Cafe, the woman saw her passenger-side window was broken, and her purse was gone. The purse was eventually found in a bush with all credit cards and check blanks gone.
May 16, 12:00 a.m., 3008 Bryant Ave. S.
A Schaefer Hardwood Floors van parked behind the company’s building was broken into. The unidentified suspects broke the driver-side window and stole all the flooring equipment in the vehicle.

WHITTIER
May 12, 12:30 a.m., 2809 Pleasant Ave. S.
A man left his wallet at a business on West Lake Street and Pleasant Avenue. Upon realizing this, he called the business, but the employee said two unidentified suspects had already claimed the wallet.

An unidentified suspect assaulted a victim. The victim may have received a broken nose, but declined emergency services.
May 16, 6:00 p.m., 2729 Harriet Ave. S.
A woman brought two men to join her and her friends back at her house after meeting them at a festival. The victim brought the two men to her room, so she could show them something. At this point, the woman said the two unidentified suspects must have noticed both her computer and cell phone sitting on her desk. Soon after, the victim and her friends left the house with the two unidentified suspects staying behind to wait for a cab. The victim returned to find her computer, cell phone and phone case missing and although the two men seemed to be “very nice people,” she suspects they took the items.
