All lanes of Interstate 35W between Interstate 94 and Highway 62 will be closed starting at 10 p.m. today as part of the Crosstown Reconstruction project.
The closures are needed so that crews can demolish a bridge and work on bypass construction, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation. Traffic will be rerouted to Highway 100.
Weather permitting, the lanes are expected to be back open by 5 a.m. Monday.
