Demonstrators gathering tomorrow to raise awareness about homelessness

More than 100 demonstrators will gather at street corners throughout the Twin Cities tomorrow afternoon to rasie awareness about homelessness — a growing problem in these tough economic times.

People will be holding signs decrying the problem and passing out information alerting people about what they can do to help address the problem. 

Demonstrators will be at Nicollet Mall & 11th Street near WCCO-TV from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. There will be gatherings at other sites in the city, Plymouth, Bloomington, Brooklyn Park and St. Paul.

Southwest-based Simposon Housing Services is sponsoring the "Signing thte Streets" event.
