Area businesses to discuss growing a green economy

If you’re interested in the city’s continuing work on building a green economy, there’s a forum Wednesday morning for you.

The forum will feature several representatives from green-minded businesses that range from manufacturing and professional services to retail. It’s intended to be a brainstorming session of sorts, where the representatives will discuss ways to expand and strengthen the city’s green economy and current business climate.

Mayor R.T. Rybak and the Minneapolis Regional Chamber of Commerce are hosting the forum. It’s scheduled for 7:30 a.m. at the Chambers Hotel (901 Hennepin Ave.) downtown.
