Both directions of Interstate 35W from Interstate 94 to Highway 62 will be closed from 10 p.m. Friday through 5 a.m. Monday.
The closure, rescheduled from last weekend, is needed for work on water mains. Crews also will use the time to put up bridge segments.
Crews have been shutting off northbound I-35W from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. each night this week from Downtown to Crosstown. That’s expected to continue through Thursday.
This weekend, northbound travelers should go west on Crosstown, north on Highway 100 and east on Interstate 394. Southbound travelers should take I-394 west, Highway 100 south and Crosstown east.
Other upcoming closures include one that will shut down all lanes of Highway 62 from Penn Avenue to I-35W. That’s scheduled for 10 p.m. Nov. 7 through 5 a.m. Nov. 10.
