The ramp connecting Interstate 35W north to eastbound Highway 62 was scheduled to close this week and early next week, but the closure has been postponed until Oct. 29-31 and Nov. 3-4 due to poor weather and "schedule adjustments," according to a Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) update.
The ramp closure is now scheduled from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 29-31 and Nov. 3-4.
It will be closed so crews can remove sheet piling. Motorists are asked to follow posted detours.
On the bright side, I-35W and westbound Highway 62 will remain open during the closures, including the ramp from southbound I-35W to eastbound Highway 62.
And the work will be done during daytime hours, rather than at night, to limit truck noise.
