Will Steger has plans to share the sights, sounds and experiences of his trips to the ends of the earth from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 28 at the Southside Family Auditorium at St. Stephen’s Catholic Church, 2123 Clinton Ave. S.
The Minnesota-born polar explorer is expected to provide first-hand insight into climate change — and its effects — as well as share exciting stories via a slideshow with the gathered assembly.
Steger will be followed by speaker Karen Monahan of Envrionmental Justice Advocates of Minnesota (EJAM). She will discuss the "green jobs" movement.
The event is free to all.
Steger has, in the past, remained after his speaking engagements to sign books and discuss his trips.
