Police searching for suspects in Windom home robbery

Windom residents are being asked to watch for suspicious activity following a violent robbery Monday on the 5600 block of Blaisdell Ave. S.

Two men entered an unlocked house around 11 p.m. and assaulted a man and his adult son, according to Minneapolis police. The suspects, who indicated they were armed, damaged the residents’ phones and left with items. They escaped in a red SUV-style vehicle.

Police released the following descriptions on Thursday:

The first suspect is a black male with a dark complexion, 18-25 years old, 5’11” with a thin build, and wearing a black zippered jacket with a silver design on the back and dark jean shorts. The suspect used his jacket to cover his face.
 
The second suspect is mixed-race or a black male with light complexion, 18-25 years old, 5’11” with a medium to muscular build, and wearing a baggy blue T-shirt. He also used his shirt to cover his face.
