Between May 14, noon, and May 19, 6:11 a.m., 3000 block of Colfax Ave.
A 31-year-old man had his vehicle stolen from the front of his residence by an unknown suspect. The victim said that the vehicle had been locked and he still has the keys.
+ May 17, 1:40 a.m., W. 31st St. and Hennepin Ave.
An unknown suspect robbed two 28-year-old women at gunpoint.
+ May 18, 2:01–2:26 a.m., W. 32nd St. and Emerson Ave.
Two unknown suspects robbed a 29-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man at gunpoint. The two suspects, whom the victims’ had very little information of, approached the victims from behind.
May 8, 12:40–1 p.m., 3400 block of W. 47th St.
Police arrested a juvenile male charged with a narcotics violation. Several bags of suspected marijuana were found in the suspect’s possession while at school.
May 14, 7:30 a.m.–5:15 p.m., 2500 block of W. 21st St.
Unknown suspect(s) entered the home of a 50-year-old man by removing a bedroom window screen. Once inside, the suspects(s) removed several items from the home. Police officers responding to the burglary may have retrieved a possible print left at the scene by the suspect(s).
May 13, 7:45 a.m.–7:30 p.m., 4200 block of 1st Ave.
A 35-year-old man called police to report that an unidentified suspect had stolen several Halloween decorations from his front yard while he was at work. The victim gave officers a videotape of a possible suspect stealing the decorations.
May 16, 2:03–2:20 p.m., 3800 block of Pillsbury Ave.
Police pulled over a vehicle being driven by a 28-year-old man. Officers found the driver had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant out for his arrest. Upon searching the vehicle, officers recovered a felony amount of suspected marijuana from inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and transported to Hennepin County Jail.
May 9, 10:30 a.m.–5 p.m., 4500 block of Drew Ave.
A 67-year-old woman returned home to find several items missing from her home. The front door of the victim’s home had been left unlocked.
Between May 18, 9 p.m., and May 19, 10 a.m., 2700 block of W. 43rd St.
An unknown suspect stole the vehicle of a 42-year-old woman. The reporting person, a 22-year-old man, still has the keys to the vehicle. Police were unable to find any physical evidence at the parking lot of an apartment complex.
+ May 19, 12:24 a.m., 4200 block of Sheridan Ave.
Police arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to the burglary of a 24-year-old woman’s house and the assault of 30-year-old man. The suspect was taken to Hennepin County Jail. The assault victim did not need any medical treatment.
May 19, 11 a.m.–9:29 p.m., 4200 block of Abbott Ave.
Unknown suspect(s) burglarized the home of a 57-year-old woman. The suspect(s) entered the home by breaking a rear sliding-glass door. Once inside, the suspect(s) removed several items before exiting out the same glass door.
May 9, 7:19 p.m., 800 block of W. 28th St.
Police received a call about a burglary in progress where a male suspect was observed kicking in the front door of an apartment building. Officers arrived and arrested a 26-year-old man at the scene in connection to the attempted burglary. The suspect needed to be transported to Hennepin County Medical Center to receive treatment for an undisclosed injury prior to be taken to Hennepin County Jail.

+ May 14, 12:30 p.m., 2300 block of Lyndale Ave.
Three unknown suspects burglarized the apartment of a 19-year-old man and robbed him. The victim was also assaulted by the suspects during the robbery but refused any medical treatment offered by police.
Between May 14, 11 p.m., and May 15, 1 p.m., 2900 block of Bryant Ave.
Unknown suspect(s) stole the vehicle of a 59-year-old man. The victim’s son reported the vehicle missing and that there was a spare set of keys inside the vehicle at the time of the theft.
May 11, 3 a.m., E. 35th St. and Stevens Ave.
Officers pulled over a vehicle being driven by a 36-year-old man. The officers discovered the vehicle as having been stolen from St. Cloud. The suspect was arrested and transported to Hennepin County Jail. At HCJ, deputies found suspected ecstasy pills in the suspect’s possession.
May 14, 9 a.m.-–2:47 p.m., 3400 block of Pleasant Ave.
An unknown suspect burglarized the home of a 55-year-old man. A window on the rear porch had been broken in order to gain access to the rest of the house. Several items had been removed from the living room as several other rooms were rummaged through. A possible fingerprint was recovered from an item by police.
May 14, 4–8 p.m., 3100 block of Grand Ave.
A 47-year-old woman parked her vehicle across the street from her home with the keys in the ignition. When she returned, she found an unknown suspect had stolen had stolen the vehicle.
May 17, 4:43 a.m., 3400 block of Nicollet Ave.
A 41-year-old man parked his vehicle with the keys in the ignition while he went inside a gas station. When he came back out, an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle. The vehicle is described as a maroon 1997 Toyota Rav4 with a scratch down the passenger side door and a University of Minnesota sticker.
May 19, 2:52–3:15 a.m., 3400 block of Nicollet Ave.
The customer at a gas station who alleged two individuals were buying and selling marijuana flagged police officers down. Officers made contact with the suspects, an 18-year-old man and a juvenile male, and found suspected marijuana in the 18-year-old’s vehicle. He was given a citation and released at the scene. The juvenile was also given a citation and transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
Between May 15, 6 p.m., and May 18, 8 p.m., 4800 block of Lake Harriet Parkway
An unknown suspect burglarized the home of a 59-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman. The house was empty during the time of the burglary. The suspect entered the home by breaking a window and then proceeded to remove several items from inside.
Between May 17, 1 a.m., and May 19, 9 p.m., E. 17th St. and 1st Ave.
A 27-year-old man parked his vehicle near the corner of the above location. When he returned, he found an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle. The victim found broken glass on the sidewalk near where the car had been parked.
+ May 6, 4:10 a.m., W. 25th St. and Pillsbury Ave.
Police arrested a 21-year-old man in connection to the robbery of a 56-year-old man. The suspect was transported and booked at Hennepin County Jail.
+ May 6, 8:33 p.m., W. 26th St. and Pillsbury Ave.
An unknown suspect robbed a juvenile male. The suspect approached the victim and demanded money. When the victim said he didn’t have any money, the suspect demanded his iPod and headphones. The suspect took the items and fled the scene on foot.
May 8, 7:55–11 a.m., 2600 block of 3rd Ave.
A 34-year-old woman returned home for lunch and found an unknown suspect had burglarized her home. Several items were missing from the home. Officers searched the area but were unable to find any evidence left at the scene.
+ May 9, 10:15 p.m., 2100 block of Lyndale Ave.
Unknown suspects robbed a 24-year-old man at gunpoint. The victim lost his vehicle, cell phone, wallet and white shoes during the robbery.
May 12, 9:10–11:20 a.m., 2600 block of 3rd Ave.
An unknown suspect crawled through a window to gain access to the home of a 34-year-old woman. Once inside, the suspect removed several CDs from the living room and jewelry from the bedroom before leaving out the backdoor. The victim’s home had also been burglarized three days earlier.
+ May 14, 9:39 p.m., W. 28th St. and Pillsbury Ave.
Two unknown suspects robbed a 31-year-old man at knifepoint. Police officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
+ May 15, 12:54 a.m., 100 block of W. Lake St.
An unknown suspect robbed and assaulted a 34-year-old man and a 30-year-old man. The first victim had been struck in the head with an unidentified object and the second victim was stabbed with a knife. Both victims needed to be transported to the hospital and were listed in stable condition.
+ May 15, 1:09 a.m., W. 24th St. and Blaisdell Ave.
An unknown suspect robbed and assaulted a 43-year-old man. The victim was punched several times but did not have any money to give the suspect. He needed to be transported to Hennepin County Medical Center to receive treatment for several small lacerations to his head.
May 16, 12:05 a.m., W. Lake St. and Blaisdell Ave.
Police officers stopped a 43-year-old man they saw litter on the sidewalk. Police checked the suspects name and found a felony warrant out for his arrest. The suspect was arrested and transported to Hennepin County Jail. When police searched the suspect, they found a rolled up dollar bill that contained a white powdery substance.
