Minneapolis planners will host an open house tonight at City Hall to get public input for a new Bicycle Master Plan.
The new plan is intended to be more in-depth than the city’s current bike plan, approved in 2001, according to an e-mail from the city.
Goals, policies, design guidance and a map of future facilities will all be part of the new plan. It will focus on education, enforcement, engineering, evaluation and equity, and a prioritized list of projects and initiatives will also be included.
The open house will start at 4:30 p.m. with brief presentations at 5 p.m., 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. The event will be in room 319 of City Hall, 350 S. 5th St.
