Lightning will strike twice — and probably more — tonight at the Bakken Museum.
Every second Tuesday of the month, the museum hosts its Bakken Evening Out, a happy hour alternative for adults. Tonight, the focus will be on electrical engineer Nikola Tesla, inventor of the radio and the Tesla Coil.
“Toast to Tesla” will include a demonstration with the coil, meaning a flashy display of manmade lightning. The museum also will be putting up books on Tesla and putting on live performances of classic radio shows. If weather permits, the museum’s gardens will be open as well.
Food and wine will be served.
It costs $7 to get in. The Bakken Museum is located at 3537 Zenith Ave. S.
