Kingfield

+ March 26, 10:05 p.m., 3900 block of 1st Ave.

Five or six male suspects robbed a man. The suspects stole various items from the victim before fleeing the scene on foot. A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection to the robbery and booked at Hennepin County Jail.

Linden Hills

+ April 2, 10:50–11:59 p.m., W. 38th St. and Xerxes Ave.

Officers arrested two juvenile males in connection to the robbery of a 27-year-old man. Both suspects were booked on felony robbery charges at the Juvenile Detention Center.

Lowry Hill East

April 4, 7:52 p.m., W. 24th St. and Aldrich Ave.

Police received information from nearby residents that a suspicious vehicle had been spotted that they believed was being used to sell drugs. Officers stopped the driver of the vehicle — a 30-year-old man. Upon searching the vehicle, officers recovered what appeared to be cocaine. The suspect was arrested and transported to Hennepin County Jail and booked on felony narcotics violation charges.

Lyndale

April 2, 10:30 a.m.–5 p.m., 3300 block of Nicollet Ave.

A suspect burglarized the residence of a 40-year-old man. The victim told police he had been away and when he returned found his apartment had been burglarized. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate any suspects.

+ April 4, 3:20 p.m., 3400 block of Grand Ave.

An unidentified number of suspects robbed and assaulted a 48-year-old woman. The victim, after the assault, was left in an alley. Witnesses told police that when the suspects drove from the scene, they ran over her with their vehicle. At the time of the report, the victim was in stable condition at Hennepin County Medical Center.

+ April 6, 5:25–6 a.m., W. Lake St. and Pillsbury Ave.

Two suspects robbed a 23-year-old man at gunpoint and knifepoint. The victim flagged police down after the robbery took place. Loss from the robbery included a wallet, $300 in cash and a plastic bag with food items. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

Lynnhurst

March 27, 8:45–9:25 a.m., 3300 block of Colfax Ave.

A 52-year-old man met an unidentified male suspect on Craigslist about one month earlier. The suspect visited the man and while the victim was in the shower, the suspect allegedly took the victim’s laptop computer and left.

Stevens Square

Between March 29, noon, and March 30, 2:07 a.m., 100 block of Groveland Ave.

An unknown suspect burglarized the residence of a 45-year-old man. The suspect cut open a window screen, reached in and removed the victim’s wallet. A spare key to the victim’s vehicle was inside the wallet. The suspect then stole the man’s vehicle.

+ April 2, 12:05 p.m., 1800 block of Nicollet Ave.

Officers arrested a 22-year-old woman in connection to the assault and robbery of a 41-year-old man. The victim was working at a local food market when the alleged assault and robbery took place. The suspect was transported to Hennepin County Jail and booked on a charge of felony assault with a dangerous weapon.

Tangletown

March 31, 1:35 a.m., W. 46th St. and Stevens Ave.

Police arrested a 23-year-old man in connection to the robbery of a 25-year-old man. The suspect allegedly robbed the suspect of unidentified loss. The victim refused medical treatment.

Whittier

March 28, 11:17 p.m., 2300 block of Pillsbury Ave.

An officer on patrol observed a vehicle fail to signal while making a turn. The driver of the vehicle, a 22-year-old man, was found to not have a driver’s license. Upon searching the vehicle, the officer located an unknown type of narcotic inside the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and transported to Hennepin Country Jail and booked on narcotics violation charges.

+ March 28, 1:50 a.m., W. 28th St. and Harriet Ave.

Two suspects robbed a 21-year-old man. One of the suspects implied that he had a gun, but one was not made visible. The loss from the robbery included a black wallet that contained a Minnesota ID and a check card. Both suspects fled the scene on foot.

+ March 28, 3–3:15 a.m., 2200 block of Nicollet Ave.

Three male suspects robbed a 36-year-old man, a 32-year-old man and a 29-year-old man at gunpoint. The loss from the robbery was three wallets from the victims. All three suspects fled the scene on foot.

March 29, 7:19 p.m., 2000 block of Nicollet Ave.

An officer pulled over a vehicle driven by a 27-year-old man connected to an ongoing narcotics investigation. The officer searched the vehicle and found drugs inside. The suspect was arrested on narcotics violations and transported to Hennepin County Jail.

CARAG
+ March 24, 9 p.m., W. 33rd St. and Harriet Ave.
Three suspects robbed and assaulted a 37-year-old man as he was walking home. The three suspects approached the victim and one of the suspects hit the victim in the head with an object. The suspects then fled the scene with several of the victim’s items. The victim needed to be treated and transported by ambulance to the hospital for a large contusion above his left eye sustained during the assault.

East Harriet
March 20, 1:50–2:15 p.m., 4300 block of Colfax Ave.
A 39-year-old man parked his vehicle on the street and when he returned found that an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle. The victim claimed the doors had been locked but that the keys may have fallen out of his pocket.

Between March 21, 6 p.m., and March 22, 1 p.m., W. 44th St. and Lyndale Ave.
A 29-year-old man parked his vehicle on the street with the doors unlocked and a key hidden in the center console. When he returned, the victim found that an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle.

Kingfield
Between March 19, 5 p.m., and March 20, 7 a.m., 3700 block of Grand Ave.
A 30-year-old woman parked her vehicle in the driveway of her home overnight. The next morning she discovered an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle sometime during the night.

March 23, 8–11:59 p.m., 3900 block of Grand Ave.
A 38-year-old woman left her vehicle parked on the street and when she returned found an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle. There was no broken glass on the ground in the area the vehicle had been parked. Another vehicle listed as stolen from South Dakota had been left at the scene.

Lowry Hill East
+ March 19, 12:16 a.m., 2000 block of Hennepin Ave.
Officers arrested a 27-year-old man suspected of attempting to rob two women, a 25 year old and a 23 years old, of their purses. The suspect ran off but officers were able to apprehend him a few blocks away. Officers transported the suspect to Hennepin County Jail where he was booked on robbery charges.

Lyndale

+ March 23, 10:15 a.m., 3100 block of Aldrich Ave.
Police received a call about a 26-year-old woman admitted to North Memorial Hospital after being the victim of a robbery. She had sustained various injuries and needed to receive stitches to her left eye and arm. There are no suspects.

Lynnhurst
March 20, 3 a.m., 4800 block of Bryant Ave.
An unknown suspect burglarized the residence of a 36-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman. The victims, sleeping on the second floor, heard a disturbance on the first floor. The man went to investigate and discovered an unknown suspect in the kitchen and then chased the suspect out of the home. Outside the home, the suspect threatened the victim with a can of mace before fleeing in an unknown direction. The only apparent loss from the burglary was a debit card.

Stevens Square
March 24, 12:57–2 p.m., E. Franklin Ave. and Nicollet Ave.
Police stopped a 31-year-old man they observed crossing the street against a red light. The suspect suddenly fled the scene on foot. The suspect was soon located and found to be in possession of 58.6 grams of marijuana. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to Hennepin County Jail.

Whittier
+ March 18, 4–4:18 a.m., W 22nd St. and Grand Ave.
Two unknown suspects robbed a 23-year-old woman and a 22-year-old woman. The suspects pushed the two victims to the ground and stole their purses before fleeing the scene.

March 18, 9:07 p.m., W. 25th St. and Blaisdell Ave.
Police conducted a routine traffic stop on a vehicle being driven by a 23-year-old man. The driver was found to be operating the vehicle under a suspended license. While searching the vehicle before it was towed to the impound lot, officers discovered a small amount of crack cocaine. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to Hennepin County Jail.

March 19, 10 a.m.–1:30 p.m., 2400 block of 3rd Ave.
A 41-year-old man parked his vehicle in a two-hour limited parking zone along the street. When he returned, three and a half hours later, he found his vehicle missing. When the Auto Desk was notified, there was no record of his vehicle being towed. There are no suspects.

March 20, 8:30–8:45 a.m., E. 35th St. and Nicollet Ave.
A 40-year-old woman left her vehicle unattended with the keys inside while she went inside a local gas station. When she came back, she found that an unknown suspect had stolen the vehicle.

+ March 20, 9:30 p.m., 2500 block of Pillsbury Ave.
Police arrested four suspects who are believed to have been involved in an aggravated assault of a 30-year-old man and a 21-year-old woman. The four suspects allegedly punched the male victim and knocked him to the ground before searching both victims and stealing a flashlight. After officers located the suspects, the victims positively identified them. All four suspects were transported to Hennepin County Jail and charged with aggravated robbery.

March 22, 9:10 p.m., 2800 block of 1st Ave.
Police were called about a burglary in progress at the residence of a 29-year-old man. Upon arrival, officers discovered the suspect, a 37-year-old man, who had been in the back of the home. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to Hennepin County Jail where he was booked on burglary charges.
