The exit ramp from southbound Interstate 35W to 46th Street in Minneapolis is scheduled to reopen today. However, it will close again in August through fall 2009, according to a Minnesota Department of Transportation release.
The 46th Street bridge and all other freeway ramps at 46th Street remain closed. Motorists should follow the posted detour routes.

The $288 million Crosstown construction project hopes to increase traffic flow by “unweaving” certain tangled portions. It is scheduled to be complete in December 2010.
