Sex offender notification meeting set

LYNDALE – The Minneapolis Police Department will host a meeting March 25 to notify residents of Earl Petersen, 52, a level-three sex offender living on the 3400 block of Lyndale Ave. S.

Petersen’s offenses have involved adult women; some he has known, others he has not.

Petersen is not wanted at this time, but level-three sex offenders are the most likely of all risk groups to re-offend, according to a statement from the Police Department.

The meeting is meant to provide area residents with information about Petersen, as required by state law. It will be from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Painter Park, 620 W. 34th St.
