“Free Ink Day” set for this Saturday

Highpoint Center for Printmaking’s “Free Ink Day” has arrived again and people of all ages can unleash their inner artist in a printmaking session on Saturday, Jan. 26 from 1 p.m.–5 p.m.

Younger guests can try out relief rubbings of textured items and pre-cut wood blocks. Older children and adults can create painted print monotypes using an etching press.
No registration is required, and the printmaking is free.

Highpoint Center for Printmaking is a seven-year-old nonprofit art center and gallery devoted to the printmaking arts. Free Ink Days take place four times each year. The center is located at 2638 Lyndale Ave. S.
