TANGLETOWN — The last of four highway ramps connecting Interstate 35W to Diamond Lake Road should reopen this week, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
The southbound exit ramp from I-35W to Diamond Lake Road was expected to open by Friday. Access to Diamond Lake Road from I-35W was temporarily closed because of the ongoing Crosstown reconstruction project.
A few blocks north, the closing of exit ramps to 46th Street has been delayed until at least February. Highway entrance ramps are already closed at 46th Street and aren’t expected to reopen until 2009 or 2010.
The exit ramp from eastbound Highway 62 to Lyndale Avenue South may close by the end of the month. Occasional nighttime lane closures between 9:30 p.m. and 6 a.m. could occur throughout the winter as construction continues on 35W and 62.
