Updates on neighborhood meetings canceled due to bridge collapse

The August 2 Lyndale Avenue public information meeting that was cancelled because of the I-35W bridge collapse has not yet been rescheduled, according to Hennepin County Commissioner Gail Dorfman’s office.

It appears that it will be rescheduled toward the end of August, said Kerri Pearce Ruch, but it might be held in September if needed.

The meeting will be held at the Martin Luther King Recreation Center, 4055 Nicollet Ave., in Kingfield.

For more information, contact Ruch in Dorfman’s office at 348-3080.

Lynnhurst crime meeting originally scheduled for August 1
A spokesperson in the office of Council Member Betsy Hodges (13th Ward) said the Lynnhurst meeting about crime in the neighborhood was cancelled last Wednesday. It has not been rescheduled yet but they are looking at possibly holding the meeting in two or three weeks.

The meeting will be held in the Lynnhurst Community Center, 1345 W. Minnehaha Pkwy.
