Juut Salon Spa plans to expand its 2945 Hennepin Ave. S. location into the former Cold Stone Creamery space and Financial Freedom Realty sales center.
The recently purchased spaces are located directly below Juut, which plans to remodel them for an October opening, said Kate Hendersholt, marketing director for the salon and spa. As for how Juut will use the additional room, Hendersholt could only say it will be “fun and new.”
She said Juut benefits from the visibility at Hennepin and Lake and staff were excited about the expansion.
Juut’s remodel is the most recent of several business changes at Uptown’s most known intersection including the sale of Calhoun Square to NY-based Black Rock and the upcoming additions of North Face, Victoria’s Secret and American Apparel.
Juut is an independently owned and operated salon chain that spawned from Aveda. The business has several other locations in Minnesota and one in California. For more information, visit www.juut.com.
