Africa is calling at Linden Hills library

The Linden Hills branch library, 2900 W. 43rd St., presents Queen Lion of Africa, with puppeteer Dianne Gasch, on Saturday, August 4 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The grand lioness shares stories of how her African lion ancestors gave all animals different gifts. You’ll learn why the elephant has a trunk and a giraffe has a long neck, plus you’ll hear many other stories about African creatures.
