The first 200 people to register for the event will receive a complimentary lunch.
As part of the day's activities, participants will decide on topics to discuss during breakout sessions. The summit is intended to help community leaders determine what priority learning opportunities school leaders should consider for students in the future.
Minneapolis Public Schools, Minneapolis Community and Technical College, Hennepin County School Success, Mayor R.T. Rybak's office and the Minneapolis Youth Coordinating Board are collaborating on the summit. It will be held 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
