Lyndale Avenue’s future discussed Oct. 26

A "Development ABCs" workshop focusing on Lyndale Avenue's potential future south of Minnehaha Creek will be held Tuesday, Oct. 26, 7-9 p.m. at Richfield United Methodist Church, 5835 Lyndale Ave. S.

The effort, sponsored by a multi-neighborhood group called LASR-CC, hopes to give residents and others information they can proactively use to help make Lyndale a more livable corridor -- rather than reacting to future development proposals.

Organizers say 70 people attended an earlier October workshop, despite the vice presidential debate, a Twins playoff game and the Bruce Springsteen "Vote for Change" concert in St. Paul.
