Another robbery occurred at about 2:35 a.m. on March 23. A man flagged down police at 47th Street West and Harriet Avenue South in the Tangletown neighborhood and said he had been robbed. The victim said a car had rear-ended his and when the two parties got out to exchange information, the suspect grabbed the victim’s wallet and left the scene. The two officers responding to the incident tracked down the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect tried to flee but crashed his car on the 3300 block of Grand Avenue South. The suspect got out of the vehicle and fled on foot, but he was apprehended by officers and taken into custody.
