Mayor R.T. Rybak and Police Chief William McManus will hold a forum March 30 in South Minneapolis to update residents on the city's Community Policing Initiative.
Robert Wasserman and Elizabeth Watson of the Strategic Policy Partnership, national experts on community policing strategies, will be presenters at the event. The forum will be held 4-6 p.m. at the Zurah Shrine Center, 2540 Park Ave.
Community members will be briefed on feedback gathered from focus groups, residents, police and elected officials on the initiative. They will also have an opportunity to give input on the city's community policing strategy.
