City officials are offering residents one last chance to add their input to the Midtown Greenway Land Use and Development Plan.
The final community meeting discussing the plan - which will be a long-term community vision for how to guide development and public improvements in the Greenway Corridor - will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 28. City officials will unveil drafts of the development guidelines, future land use map and implementation strategy. Residents can comment on the drafts, which the city will then refine and include in the final plan. When the plan is finished, it will be presented to the City Planning Commission and the City Council for approval.
During the last community meeting in November, the city presented preliminary work on development guidelines as well as strategies for ownership and management of open space. The small group discussions at that meeting provided valuable feedback, said Senior City Planner Beth Elliott.
The final community meeting will be held from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Intermedia Arts, 2822 Lyndale Ave. S.
