LRT information meeting
EAST ISLES — Residents of East Isles were invited to an informational meeting on planning for the Southwest Transitway light rail corridor 7:30 p.m.–9:30 p.m. May 19 at Grace Trinity Church, 1430 W. 28th St.
The East Isles Residents Association will host the event, which will include a presentation on proposed routes for the light rail line from Transitway officials and members of the advisory committee. The second hour of the meeting was reserved for a question-and-answer session.

Linden Hills Festival
LINDEN HILLS — The 34th annual Linden Hills Festival is set for May 16. The daylong event will include a garage sale, art fair and marketplace, live music, horse-drawn wagon rides, a petting zoo, a silent auction and more.
